When you register we ask for information such as your name and email address.
Foneti.co automatically receives and records information from your computer and browser, including your IP address, Foneti.co cookie information, software and hardware attributes, and the page you request.
Foneti.co does not share personal information with other companies or individuals except in the following circumstances:
- We have a good faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request, including investigation of potential violations thereof, detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, or protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of Foneti.co, its users or the public as required or permitted by law.
A cookie is a small piece of information that is stored on a computer for the purpose of identifying that browser during interaction on websites. Cookies may be used to store items such as identifiers and user preferences. A website may set a cookie to the browser if the browser's preferences allow it. A browser only permits a website to access the cookies it has set, not those set by other websites.
Foneti.co may set and access Foneti.co cookies on your computer.
Foneti.co lets other companies that show advertisements on some of our pages set and access their cookies on your computer. Other companies' use of their cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, not this one. Advertisers or other companies do not have access to Foneti.co's cookies.
When your web browser or email application requests a web page or email from another computer on the Internet, it automatically gives that computer the address where it should send the information. This is called your computer's "IP address." (IP stands for "Internet protocol.") For most users accessing the Internet from a dial-up Internet service provider (ISP), the IP address will be different every time you log on.Information Collection and Use Practices
Foneti.co receives IP addresses from all users because this information is automatically reported by your browser each time you view a web page.
Your IP address is stored in our user registration databases when you register with Foneti.co.
IP addresses may be used for various purposes, including to:
- Diagnose service or technology problems that are associated with the IP addresses controlled by a specific web company or ISP.
- Detect, prevent or investigate fraud, violations and abuses.
- Enable you to use location-aware services.
- Send the most appropriate advertising based on geographic area or information derived from your IP address.
- Estimate the total number of users visiting Foneti.co from specific countries or regions of the world.
When a Foneti.co web page is requested and viewed, that request is logged on our servers with information including the IP address of the computer that requested the page.
Foneti.co offers some location-aware services. We obtain information about your general location based on your IP Address or when you enter your location in your Account Settings.
Foneti.co may access, store, and use the location information to provide location-aware services.
Information about your exact location is not available to us nor to other users of Foneti.co.
Other uses of location information may include determining the appropriate language for presenting a website and assisting in the detection of fraud and abuse.
When you register with Foneti.co or submit information to Foneti.co, a temporary copy of that information is routinely made to prevent accidental loss of your information through a computer malfunction or human error.
Foneti.co keeps your account information active in our user registration databases in order to provide immediate access to your personalization preferences each time you visit Foneti.co.
If you ask Foneti.co to delete your Foneti.co account, in most cases your account will be deactivated and then deleted from our user registration database in approximately 24 hours.
Any information that we have copied may remain in back-up storage for some period of time after your deletion request. This may be the case even though no account information remains in our active user databases.
